A refinisher relies on a range of earthy and vibrant pigments such as cherry, mahogany, and walnut stains to offer clients. Sometimes they are asked to strip down the old finish to apply something new or restore an original finish that needs a refresher. Either challenge, he has to be knowledgeable about the wood species because each one reacts differently to the stain. Not just the stain itself can simply determine a color but through experience, trial and error, and self-taught knowledge can he achieve the desired color.
The Tulip Chair & Table by Eero Saarinen is one of the most beloved pieces of furniture. We continue to marvel at its delicate and sleek structure. Steel construction not only revolutionized modern architecture, it changed the way we view minimalism, beauty, and function at the same time.
Often, we get to work on these pieces. Whether it’s touching up a base or tabletop or making new seat cushions, no job is too simple or small. We equally enjoy working on modern pieces like the Tulip chair as much as a heavily carved Baroque period chair. No contrast of style is too great for us. We love “Tulips” but daisies and roses we love, too!

As creators, we refer to the past for inspiring and ground breaking designs. We honor the genius masters of our time and time’s past. May it be a painter, architect or a sculpture; seeking the truth is always at stake for men and women who take up creative occupations. For furniture makers, truth lies in every thread that meets a needle, fabric that meets a wood-frame, and a ruler that dictates size and scale. A craftsman’s place of worship is where materials come together as one. It’s a place that inspires him to create honest work, a place to express his god-given talent.
